(8) Like it or not, everything in this world is actually connected together, through insurance, and nobody knows! All linked together, silently and indirectly! And all the authorities too! Through same management theory, same trade associations and networks, with same training and business/work methods! Everybody just blindly conforms and follows each other, and in a way, also being controlled and manipulated, somehow! Unknowingly, sense of impunity is enhanced, and encouraged! Creating and adding more conflicts and chaos, and unreasonings, continuously! For better control? On top, people always learnt and copied along the line. In all sectors! Therefore, driving even more ignorance and inability as a result, and more risks! So that there will be more needs for insurance that just complicate things further, and then keep repeating? In whole, just makes the Insurance Industry fail as an industry for providing insurance, when needed! Purposely? Is it a gainful and profitable proposition? What harms and uncertainties will cause to society, and to itself? Is it just a hidden invisible design, revolving around the same old traditional "business model"? Would digital transformation and virtualization of processes make things better? In fact, end up making insurance even worse for consumers! At the end, just perpetuating a worldwide accepted don't care system! No wonder! Should we 'carry on', the way it is? Change and disruption? How? Examples: A, B, C, D.

Hi, Xxxx,

What happened?

Was it just because we "didn't pay" or forgot to pay? We NEVER did not pay or refuse to pay for anything properly charged and notified to us, and if we haven't missed!

Or perhaps, was it somekind of due to "Tech Utopia"?

We would appreciate very much if you can advise us accordingly.

Thanks.

Hi Xxxx,

After your recent upgrade to the XXX evauator, many of our calculations were disabled, meaning the 'calculate' button does not work. This is really frustrating for us since we have to redo the whole thing. I did phone your help desk but it seems there is nothing they can do. We are quite disappointed in your software. Thanks,

Xxxx, thanks for reply.

My response was prompted by my experience 4 or 5 years ago, about your company's "change" on No Co Spoilage cover, which was proximately caused by your company HAD NOT issued policy according to our original intention/agreement over the years, but just issued on 80Co basis.............., yet without having properly advised us accordingly! And then even accused us that we did something wrong! That's the experience!

I don't think XX&X or even Xxxxxx Xx would do business like that, but you can never tell!

Let's put the subject file to bed.

Thanks.

Hi Xxxxxx,

One of the extensions on our wording provide coverage for off premises transportable objects / equipment, and you are correct that refrigeration on the trailer was not intended to be covered which is why we are adding such an endorsement.

We did not make any changes last year for this account but we will have to make some adjustments this year to meet updated guidelines.

Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns with regards to the premium, deductible, or above mentioned endorsement, and I'm happy to discuss.

Regards,

Xxxx

Hi, Xxxx,

It is the landlord requirement that the client to have Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, and refrigeration on the trailer is never intended to be covered anyway, but adding and amending policy terms as you like for renewal is NOT the way to do business. Insurance is about risks and taking risks, and that's also the reason why our industry has become the way it is now! You should learn from the right people.

Thanks.

Thanks, Xxxxx, for your message.

Since you are reporting to your management about what we talked about, I think it is better for me to record on that, so as to make things easier for you in your reporting.

As I mentioned, relationship aside, the key to good insurance business is underwriters. And you govern your underwriters by way of using guidelines.

Your guidelines are from business numbers, and those numbers are from business experiences resulted over time. But exactly and proximately how and where those experiences and numbers came by? You only know the end results mostly. That's why you need experienced, knowledgeable, fair and reasonable underwriters to apply those guidelines individually and case wise! NOT those who use their guidelines blindly as authority to do something else! Otherwise it will not only affect business but business relationships negatively! On top, we have to talk about "xxxx xxxx- bad karma" so resulted too! I have seen just too much!

My many years of experience proved that, with hard earned examples after hard earned examples! Just that we are only brokers, actually small broker, we cannot tell companies what to do, and we are never just "producers", paying attention only to volumes, and don't care, or act like many who just carry on !

We have been working to change insurance, and we will show you, when the time comes. It is all about true business development. So much for now!

When Xxxxxxxx is back, we will make arrangement to meet up. We welcome you to bring anyone you like, in addition to Xxxxxx Xxx.

Thanks.

Good morning, Xxxxxxx

It was such a pleasure to meet you and Xxxx, and I'll look forward to meeting xxxxxxxx when xx returns. Your feedback is important, and I'll be sure to pass this along to our management team.

Iunderstand the frustration over the many changes you've been seeing, especially over the last few years. xxxxxx is always trying to improve on our way of doing business and we have to move fast to adopt new technology as it emerges. That being said, we still believe that the core of our business is in the relationships we build. We encourage our underwriters to build strong relationships with all our brokers.

Next time I'm out to see you, I'll bring an underwriter with me.

In the meantime, I have sent a message to our administration team to confirm that your address has been corrected in all of our systems. I'll confirm with you once I hear back.

Let me know if you have any questions, or if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best regards

Hi, Xxxxx,

Again, thanks for your visit to our office. You must have enough or just "too much" from us, or me!

Hope we can truly develope our business with xxxxxx together, rather than ............

I think, as a start, is to have good underwriters, experienced and knowledgeable, and of course reasonable and fair too, and those are what we need in doing insurance business! This is even more important, when people are changing just too often nowadays!

I promise I will refer you to a "knowledge source", when the time comes.

And when Xxxxxxxx comes back, perhaps we will arrange a meeting again. And this time let's have lunch together. Last year's CPC cheque is certainly enough to buy one!

With Best Regards,
