Insurtech is a portmanteau of "insurance" and "technology". The word and its meaning was created by the Author in 1984. At that time, he was the marketing manager with a professional insurance broker. He incorporated a company with that name in the same year. Long before the word "Fintech" even came into existence. He firmly believes technology, if properly used, will change insurance business to the way it should be. The word and its meaning have been used in business since. The web domain www.Insurtech.com was also registered in 1997. In addition, the word Insurtech and its meaning, including its web domain www.Insurtech.com have always been intended to be proprietary, both actual and virtual, borderless and limitless, in all our usage, application and expression.
All the ideas and words in this website, including their usage and meaning, are our originals and intellectual property.
